It’s been a rather Blythe-y year so far. I got Sophie in late June, then Belarus in late July. Tertiary Jane showed up in late November and I couldn’t be happier with my girls. Here’s a small mosaic of some of my favourite shots so far in the last 6 months. Four for each my dolls plus a row of group shots.
Also, who for 365? I’m asking the same question over on Flickr (at the time of writing, one for Sophie and one for Belarus). (For those who don’t know, the first row is Sophie, second is Belarus and third is Tertiary Jane.)

S: So can we open our gift now…?
TJ: You talk too much.
B: SHUT UP, SHE’S TRYING TO TAKE A PHOTO OF US!
Me: Thanks, Rusy.
B: You’re welcome.
[pause]
B: So can we open our gift now?
Me: Yes, yes, go ahead girls.

Yes, I’m still trying to decide which of the dolls to subject to photos every single day for a year. However, doing 365 would probably be wonderful motivation to finally get them some mini-converse shoes… But in the meantime, here are some new projects that I finished over the last week for the dolls.

Sophie is wearing a knitted 100% wool top made by me and stock skirt from Simply Peppermint (Tertiary Jane).

Belarus, poor thing, is wearing a 100% acrylic knitted sweater dress made by me. It would probably look better with striped tights, or with boots.

Tertiary Jane is wearing her Simply Peppermint stock (shirt and bubble skirt) as well as a crocheted baby pink gnome/pixie hat.

First, the new outfits!

Sophie is wearing a pink kimono, with a French maid outfit next to her as well as her own school uniform. (Clothing came from Daiso, Elly-Chan doll brand.)

Belarus is wearing a blue kimono, with a Elly-Chan brand red and white checked dress. The yellow tee and the black and white checked playsuit are from Re-ment.

Poor girls are so used to being a two-dolly family that they were a little confused to the arrival of Simply Peppermint (name undecided right now).

SP: Why are you all so weird…
B: Why are you so green?
S: Lookit how tall I am!

SP: Of all the households I end up in, I get the crazy kid with the silver hair and the one with the attitude…

Me: Erm… What do you think you girls are doing?
S: Nothing!
B: Yup, nothing!
Me: You’ve been looking through my contacts and saw irulethegalaxy‘s photos of Blythes tormenting boxed girls, haven’t you?
S: Damn it.
Me: Sophie!
S: It was Rusy’s idea. Had to show the New Girl what she was in for, you know?

B: I’m so glad to be wearing a kimono…
S: Why?
B: Or else I think she could be looking up at our undies!

So October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I saw that battywing on Flickr posted up photos earlier this month of her knitted Breast Cancer Awareness hat. Me being me, I asked if it would be okay for me to do something like it in crochet and she said sure. Only took me half a month to get around to doing it, but here it is… In all its glory.

Belarus is wearing a crocheted breast cancer awareness hat by me… And that’s about it.
