Still tracking! Thanks Customs, for working on a Saturday =) Now I just need Canada Post to deliver on a Sunday (lol). I was pleasantly surprised to see an update when I typed in the tracking number on a whim – can’t wait until she arrives!

Deena – She’s of the same mold-type as Belarus is. From the Takara Blythes, there have been several different molds (BL, EBL, SBL, RBL and FBL). Belarus is an EBL, the new girl is the same type (EBL) while both Sophie and Tertiary Jane are RBLs. BLs are the oldest Takara Blythe mold type, while FBL is the newest (they’ve only had 4 or so dolls so far).
No photos yet, as I haven’t received her yet and I’m not planning on putting up photos of the promotional photos (because it just does not do her justice). Since she’s already in the country, I’m hoping against hope that she’ll arrive tomorrow, but it’s more likely that she’ll arrive on Monday.

Someone special is coming to live with me. =) No pics yet, obviously, since that someone special hasn’t arrived yet – but soon! After all, she left 05:20 in the local time of her origin country (Japan), so since she’s left already, she should get scanned in Canada sometime today or tomorrow (and then it needs to update…). So excited.

Formerly known as the Simply Peppermint that had no name… SPthNN would like to make a little announcement!
SPthNN: I have a name! My name is Tertiary Jane. That’s Tert-eeeee-air-eeeeee Jane.
[Side Note: It's tertiary for the tertiary protein structure/folding and tertiary for tertiary functional group on a carbon in organic chemistry, not for the time period or anything else. And Jane because it just... clicked when I said it out loud and looked at her. I honesty expected her to end up with a really cutesy girly name because of her hair colour and the fact that she came out of a box with a cute little sleeveless black shirt and an adorable bubble skirt with polka dots and those fabulous squishy black boots. I expected her to be a girly girl and get along awesomely with Sophie, who is the resident girly girl as of this moment. Instead, she's a bit more like Belarus, but with less of the attitude. Tertiary Jane is totally my little geek girl.]

First, the new outfits!

Sophie is wearing a pink kimono, with a French maid outfit next to her as well as her own school uniform. (Clothing came from Daiso, Elly-Chan doll brand.)

Belarus is wearing a blue kimono, with a Elly-Chan brand red and white checked dress. The yellow tee and the black and white checked playsuit are from Re-ment.

Poor girls are so used to being a two-dolly family that they were a little confused to the arrival of Simply Peppermint (name undecided right now).

SP: Why are you all so weird…
B: Why are you so green?
S: Lookit how tall I am!

SP: Of all the households I end up in, I get the crazy kid with the silver hair and the one with the attitude…

Me: Erm… What do you think you girls are doing?
S: Nothing!
B: Yup, nothing!
Me: You’ve been looking through my contacts and saw irulethegalaxy‘s photos of Blythes tormenting boxed girls, haven’t you?
S: Damn it.
Me: Sophie!
S: It was Rusy’s idea. Had to show the New Girl what she was in for, you know?

B: I’m so glad to be wearing a kimono…
S: Why?
B: Or else I think she could be looking up at our undies!
