Eden Mouse!

Not sure if I’ve mentioned it yet, but Eden’s gotten a little bit of customizations (gaze correction/gaze lift). No sleep eyes though, I decided she didn’t need them. But as the ‘little sister’ of the group, she wears everything after everyone else, so I decided (as a fellow little sister!) she needed something that was ‘just for her’. And then, the pink mouse helmet was born! She’s so much sweeter than I thought she was originally. Eden is definitely one that I had to have for a while before finally realizing that yes, I do love her. Maybe it’s the kinship in both being younger siblings, or the fact that she really reminds me of when I was little (the hair cut!).

I think I'm adorable.

5/365 - So where's *your* medal?

Sophie: How come you don’t have a gold medal?
Me: Uhhh… Because I’m not an athlete?
Sophie: Lameeeeee.

Still musing about 365 and new finished projects

Yes, I’m still trying to decide which of the dolls to subject to photos every single day for a year. However, doing 365 would probably be wonderful motivation to finally get them some mini-converse shoes… But in the meantime, here are some new projects that I finished over the last week for the dolls.

Knitted blue top

Sophie is wearing a knitted 100% wool top made by me and stock skirt from Simply Peppermint (Tertiary Jane).

Knitted sack? Knitted dress?

Belarus, poor thing, is wearing a 100% acrylic knitted sweater dress made by me. It would probably look better with striped tights, or with boots.

Gnome Hat :)

Tertiary Jane is wearing her Simply Peppermint stock (shirt and bubble skirt) as well as a crocheted baby pink gnome/pixie hat.

Breast Cancer Awareness (hat)

So October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I saw that battywing on Flickr posted up photos earlier this month of her knitted Breast Cancer Awareness hat. Me being me, I asked if it would be okay for me to do something like it in crochet and she said sure. Only took me half a month to get around to doing it, but here it is… In all its glory.

Belarus spam!

Deena – Blythe dolls have pullrings attached to a string that goes into their heads. When you pull on the string, the eyes close and when you release the string, the eyes open back up and they would have rotated to a new ‘set’ of eyes. Blythes have 4 sets of eye colours, 2 that look forward, 1 that looks to the left and 1 that looks to the right. The stock eye colours are blue, green, pink and orange. I’m planning on changing them on both of my dolls when I go to gaze correct them and give them sleep eyes (mild customization).

Anyways, here’s some Belarus spam! I made her a new hat but I can’t figure out what kind of ‘animal’ hat she has on now. It was supposed to be cat ears, but they’re a little too rounded/long. But I can’t figure out quite what they would represent. Any ideas?

Gots a new hat... But what is it?

Ready for my close up!
