There’s news in Blytheland!

Just so you all know, this is Sophie writing here. I want you to know that it’s hard pressing down on these stupid keyboard keys because they’re so much bigger than my fingers. I have to use my ENTIRE hand to push down each key. So just think about that when you think about how little I’m typing here. I can’t exactly do it quickly.

Anyways. As I was saying, this is Sophie. The bestest Cappuccino Chat in the entire universe. I’m pretty much super awesome, but I have to say that my sister, Belarus, is kind of awesome too. I guess.

She made a new Blythe website with Michelle and it’s called blythelife.com. It seems pretty okay, I guess. She’s already done an interview with Rob & Sioux (who do fabby-fab headbands… I should talk to Michelle about getting us on the commissions list. Or maybe I’ll just put myself on after I’m done this entry!). They also got fabby dolls featured in the interview and that Rob sure gives good answers! I think all boys (and girls) who belong to Blythe owners should help out! They can sew (like Rob does!) or they can help build stuff. For instance, I want a throne. Made out of wood, gold and velvet. Or satin. I can’t decide. I just need a throne. And a crown. I think I’d look pretty darn good with a crown, right? Where was I…? Oh yeah, Belarus and Michelle made a nifty new website. Rob & Sioux were the interviewees and gave super cool answers! And all boys (and girls) who belong to Blythe owners should help out and make stuff. Because it’s all about the Blythes. Just so you know.

Belarus is reading over my shoulder and saying that I can’t say that people ‘belong’ to other people. Because slavery was abolished and you can’t own slaves no more. I don’t even know what ‘abolished’ means. It sounds like ‘polished’ though, so I guess it all means the same thing.

I heart Rob & Sioux

That’s my sister, Belarus. And the new Blythe webby-site.

Anyways, everyone else but me seems to get to go places. Well, Bennett never gets to go anywhere too. It’s something to do with our massively long hair, I think, Michelle’s like paranoid-ed of tangles and it getting caught everywhere. That’s okay though, I don’t mind if she takes Eden to work. Eden’s so annoying sometimes because she’s always going on and on and on about how awesome and pink her hat is.

You’d think after a few months, she’s stop going on about it. After all, she wears it every single day. It’s kinda gross. She never gets it washed, I don’t think. Which is pretty ew, if you think about it…

128/365 - Seeing eye to eye

But here ^ is a photo of me and Eden. You know, before I had to move away just so I could breathe. I don’t know if she actually stinks, but I’m not taking the chance around her. Michelle thinks the hat is cute. I have no clue what either of them are thinking. They’re kinda all weird to me, you know?

xoxo, the bestest queen of the universe,
Sophie the Wonderful!

32/365 - Blythe Wheel

From the top, going in a clockwise direction: Sophie (Cappuccino Chat), Eden (Punkaholic People), Tertiary Jane (Simply Peppermint), Bennett (Margaret Meets Ladybug), Kindred (Velvet Minuet) and Belarus (Love Mission).

And this is Kindred. She is a stock Velvet Minuet. I bought her used, but she’s in fabulous condition and came with pretty much all of her stock! She’s my first SBL (one of the mold types for the heads) and is going to be my only SBL Blythe.

Eden Mouse!

Not sure if I’ve mentioned it yet, but Eden’s gotten a little bit of customizations (gaze correction/gaze lift). No sleep eyes though, I decided she didn’t need them. But as the ‘little sister’ of the group, she wears everything after everyone else, so I decided (as a fellow little sister!) she needed something that was ‘just for her’. And then, the pink mouse helmet was born! She’s so much sweeter than I thought she was originally. Eden is definitely one that I had to have for a while before finally realizing that yes, I do love her. Maybe it’s the kinship in both being younger siblings, or the fact that she really reminds me of when I was little (the hair cut!).

I think I'm adorable.

When I was younger, I had short hair (think mushroom or bowl cut) with straight-across bangs. Which reminds me a lot of Eden with her hair cut. Right down to the wonky bits that stick out more on one side than the other (miraculously, I never got teased in the lower grades in elementary school for it, I grew my hair out soon after though):

The girls decided that they were tired of the outfits that they were wearing (ahem, don’t ask for how long!) so they decided to swap stock clothes for the day.

First up is Tertiary Jane wearing Eden’s stock clothes.

Next is Sophie, wearing Tertiary Jane’s stock clothes (and looking like quite the diva!).

Following Sophie is Belarus, who’s wearing Sophie’s stock and looking very elegant.

And last, but not least, is Eden, wearing one of Belarus’ stock outfits (from the cop outfit, she’s missing the jacket and the hat).
